Kaah Islamic Microfinance Services has rebranded as KIMS Microfinance and in the process has introduced a fresh and modern brand identity for the organisation reflecting its status as the leading microfinance institution in Somalia and its national and regional growth aspirations.

.

What has changed?

At first sight you will immediately notice the change of branding style and colour schemes.

The honeycomb used in our new branding represents several important aspects of life in Somalia. The hive form pays homage to the geometric designs common in Islamic culture, symbolising KIMS commitment to offering financial services in keeping with the Sharia. Furthermore the interlocking design represents our strong connection with local communities who we enable to thrive through our responsible financial services. The orange and yellow tones represent warmth and a fresh start for our clients.

“We are extremely excited with our new and modern branding. It reflects our position as Somalia’s leading microfinance institution to a broader international audience….”

– Mustafa Abdi Ali, KIMS Chairman
